About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join their team in Reading , covering both day and evening shifts. This role is essential for maintaining the pristine condition of various commercial properties, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will be responsible for performing a range of cleaning duties according to set schedules and standards, utilizing appropriate equipment and supplies. Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, washrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to a high standard.
• Emptying waste bins and ensuring proper disposal of refuse.
• Sanitizing washroom facilities and ensuring they are kept clean and well-stocked.
• Responding to ad-hoc cleaning requests and immediate spillages.
• Adhering to all health and safety guidelines, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial or domestic cleaning is preferred.
• Good understanding of cleaning methods and the use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet cleaning targets.
• Physical fitness to carry out cleaning duties, including standing, bending, and lifting.
