About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaning Operative to join their team in Leicester . Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing floors, surfaces, and restrooms in designated commercial areas.
• Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of rubbish according to company and environmental guidelines.
• Replenish cleaning supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels in restrooms and kitchen areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as buffers and floor scrubbers, ensuring they are in good working order.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or security concerns observed during cleaning rounds to the supervisor promptly.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including the safe use of cleaning chemicals and protective equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a commercial or industrial cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrable understanding of cleaning procedures and health and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Good physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.
