About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and experienced Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to lead their cleaning team in Coventry . This hands-on role is crucial for ensuring that all commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaning operatives, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of the cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of all clean areas, identifying and rectifying any deficiencies promptly.
• Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
• Manage cleaning schedules and task allocation to ensure all areas are covered according to agreed service levels.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting needs for replenishment or repair.
• Act as the primary point of contact for site managers regarding cleaning services and address any concerns or requests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment.
• Understanding of health, safety, and COSHH regulations.
