About the Role

Our client is looking for an organized and proactive Commercial Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations for various commercial clients in Portsmouth . This hybrid role requires a balance of hands-on cleaning duties and team leadership, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services. You will be responsible for supervising a cleaning team, ensuring adherence to schedules, maintaining standards, and acting as the primary point of contact for client queries on-site. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of commercial cleaners, providing clear instructions and support.
• Conduct regular quality checks on cleaning tasks, ensuring adherence to company standards and client specifications.
• Manage cleaning schedules and delegate tasks to team members to ensure efficient coverage.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and client-specific requirements.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting replacements as needed.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding cleaning services, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the commercial cleaning industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including COSHH .
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and resources.
