Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in commercial office spaces and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and break rooms, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replacing liners and transporting waste to designated disposal areas.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, carpet cleaners, and industrial vacuums safely and effectively.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning rounds to the facilities manager promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a commercial or industrial cleaning role is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment, and their safe usage.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively to complete tasks.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods, often carrying cleaning supplies.
• A strong understanding of health and safety protocols within a cleaning environment.
