About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team in Sheffield . This role will involve drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of commercial agreements for various business operations, ensuring legal and commercial objectives are met. You will work closely with internal departments to understand their needs and provide pragmatic legal solutions. The successful candidate will possess excellent drafting skills, a strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously, contributing to a team that prides itself on providing efficient, high-quality legal support to drive business growth and mitigate risk, within a professional and supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service agreements, and NDAs.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contractual terms, risks, and liabilities.
- Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws and company policies.
- Manage contract lifecycle and maintain a central contract database.
- Assist with tender processes and procurement activities.
- Support dispute resolution related to contractual matters.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' experience in commercial contract law.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of contract law and commercial principles.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
