About the Role

Our client is seeking a proficient Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their dynamic legal team in Edinburgh . This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of commercial agreements crucial to the company's business operations. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, procurement, and IT, to ensure that all contracts align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks. Key Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including service agreements, supply contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
Provide clear and concise legal advice on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and commercial terms.
Manage contract lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their contractual needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
Assist in the development and implementation of standard contract templates and playbooks.
Stay updated on relevant commercial law and regulatory changes impacting contracts.

Requirements

Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial contract law.
Solid understanding of contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management principles.
Experience working with a variety of commercial agreements in a business context.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with UK commercial law is essential.
