This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide array of commercial agreements crucial to the company's business operations. Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including service agreements, supply contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
- Provide clear and concise legal advice on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and commercial terms.
- Manage contract lifecycle processes, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their contractual needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard contract templates and playbooks.
- Stay updated on relevant commercial law and regulatory changes impacting contracts.
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial contract law.
- Solid understanding of contract drafting, negotiation, and risk management principles.
- Experience working with a variety of commercial agreements in a business context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with UK commercial law is essential.
