About the Role

Our client seeks a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their legal department, operating remotely to support operations in Southampton . This role is essential for managing the lifecycle of commercial agreements, ensuring legal compliance, and mitigating risks associated with contractual relationships. You will be instrumental in supporting various business units by providing expert advice on contract terms, negotiations, and best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of commercial contracts, including SLAs, NDAs, and supply agreements.
• Provide expert legal advice on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations across different jurisdictions.
• Collaborate closely with internal business teams via virtual channels to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline contracting processes.
• Advise on intellectual property rights within contractual contexts.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Extensive experience in commercial contract law, with a proven track record of handling complex agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
