Commercial Contracts Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their team, operating under a fully remote model across the UK . This role is critical in supporting the company's commercial operations by providing expert legal advice and managing contractual relationships. You will work independently from your chosen location, collaborating with internal teams and external partners through digital platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a high volume of complex commercial contracts, including SaaS, licensing, and supply agreements.
• Provide strategic advice on contractual risk, compliance, and dispute resolution.
• Develop and implement standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline processes.
• Liaise with business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure legal documentation aligns with commercial objectives.
• Manage intellectual property aspects of contracts and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations impacting commercial agreements within the UK .

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of 6 years' PQE, specialising in commercial contracts .
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of UK commercial and company law.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote , autonomous environment.
• Experience with IP and data privacy law is highly desirable.
