About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Lawyer to become an integral part of their in-house legal team, located in Milton Keynes . You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial agreements, ensuring they align with business objectives and mitigate legal risks. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, customer contracts, and licensing agreements.
• Advise business stakeholders on contractual terms, risks, and legal obligations.
• Ensure all contracts comply with relevant laws and company policies.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Support the legal department in ad-hoc projects and dispute resolution matters.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer (solicitor or barrister) with a strong focus on commercial law.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Excellent understanding of contract law and commercial principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal clients.
• Commitment to working effectively within an office-based environment in Milton Keynes .
