Our client is looking for a seasoned Commercial Contracts Lawyer to join their dynamic legal department in Milton Keynes . This role is essential for managing the company's contractual relationships and ensuring robust legal frameworks are in place for all business ventures. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, and licensing contracts.
• Provide expert advice on contractual interpretation, dispute resolution, and risk management strategies.
• Develop and implement standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline commercial processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, procurement, and operations teams, to ensure legal requirements are met.
• Stay abreast of changes in contract law and commercial regulations affecting the business.
• Assist with corporate compliance initiatives and policy development.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years' experience in commercial contract law.
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Strong understanding of UK commercial law and related regulatory environments.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport with external parties.
• Proficiency in legal research and the ability to provide pragmatic, business-oriented solutions.
