Commercial Finance Analyst - FMCG

About the Role

This role is pivotal in providing critical financial insights to support strategic business decisions, drive profitability, and optimize commercial performance across various brands and product lines. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support commercial decision-making, including pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for relevant business units.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends, and profitability drivers to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track performance against financial targets and provide variance analysis.
• Prepare and present financial reports and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a commercial finance or financial analysis role, preferably within the FMCG industry .
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Cambridge for this on-site position.
