About the Role
Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Commercial Insurance Broker to join their established team in Leeds, West Yorkshire . This role focuses on building and managing a portfolio of commercial clients, identifying their unique insurance needs, and sourcing appropriate policies from a range of providers. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert advice and ensuring clients receive the best possible coverage and value. The ideal candidate possesses strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service within a dedicated office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients across various industries.
- Assess clients' risks and recommend tailored insurance solutions, including property, liability, and business interruption coverage.
- Source competitive quotes from a panel of insurance carriers and present proposals to clients.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums with insurers on behalf of clients.
- Provide ongoing support and advice to clients, assisting with policy renewals and claims inquiries.
- Stay updated on market trends and new insurance products relevant to commercial clients.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Insurance Broker , with a focus on commercial lines.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products and the insurance market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and insurance broking principles.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative office setting.
