About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker to join their reputable firm in Leeds . In this role, you will be responsible for advising businesses on their insurance needs, sourcing appropriate cover, and negotiating terms with insurers. You will build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of commercial clients, understanding their evolving risks and providing tailored insurance solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of the commercial insurance market and excellent communication skills, contributing to the firm's growth and reputation for expert advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the insurance requirements of commercial clients and provide expert advice.
• Source, compare, and present suitable insurance policies from a range of providers.
• Negotiate terms, premiums, and conditions with insurers to secure the best cover for clients.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention through proactive service.
• Handle claims support and assist clients throughout the claims process.
• Stay updated on market developments, new products, and regulatory changes impacting commercial insurance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker, specifically within the commercial sector.
• Sound knowledge of commercial insurance products and the intermediary market.
• Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as Cert CII or Dip CII, are preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting .
