About the Role

Our client is looking for a driven and client-focused Commercial Insurance Broker to join their reputable firm in Brighton . This hybrid role requires you to build and maintain relationships with commercial clients, understanding their unique business risks and providing tailored insurance solutions. You will be responsible for sourcing appropriate cover, negotiating terms with insurers, and ensuring clients receive excellent service and support throughout their policy term. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses strong commercial acumen, and thrives in a dynamic sales environment, combining office presence with remote working flexibility to best serve clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial sector.
• Consult with clients to understand their business operations and insurance requirements.
• Source, compare, and present insurance quotes from various markets.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with insurers to secure the best possible cover for clients.
• Manage existing client portfolios, ensuring retention and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Provide ongoing advice and support to clients, particularly during claims processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker, particularly in the commercial lines sector.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and the insurance market.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport and strong relationships with business clients.
• Commitment to professional development and regulatory compliance.
