Our client is actively recruiting a driven and personable Commercial Insurance Broker to join their dynamic team based in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is central to managing and growing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing expert advice on risk management and insurance solutions. You will be the primary point of contact for clients, building trust and understanding their evolving business needs. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and risk management strategies.
• Source quotes from various insurers, negotiate terms, and present comprehensive proposals to clients.
• Manage the renewal process for existing policies, ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on insurance products , market developments, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with underwriters and support staff to ensure seamless policy placement and servicing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or in a client-facing sales role within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance lines of business, including property, liability, and business interruption.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
• Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII or Dip CII) are advantageous.
