Commercial Manager – Fit Out & Small Works
Location: Glasgow
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
A growing contractor specialising in fit out and small works is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Manager to join its expanding team.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the commercial management of projects, while also leading and supporting a small commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the commercial performance of fit out and small works projects from tender through to final account.
* Manage valuations, variations, applications, forecasting and cost control.
* Work closely with clients, subcontractors and the operational team.
* Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
* Lead, mentor and support a small commercial team.
* Remain hands-on with the day-to-day commercial management of projects.
About You
You will ideally have:
* Experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar.
* A background in fit out, refurbishment, interiors, construction or small works.
* Strong commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
* Experience managing projects from start to finish.
* Previous experience leading or mentoring a small team.
* A proactive, hands-on and commercially focused approach.
