Commercial Property Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of properties in and around Birmingham . This hybrid role combines on-site property management duties with remote administrative and strategic planning. You will be responsible for maintaining property condition, managing tenant relationships, overseeing maintenance and repairs, and ensuring operational efficiency. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service to both property owners and tenants, ensuring the value and performance of the managed assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of commercial properties, including tenant relations , leasing, and service contract management.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards and identify potential issues.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects, coordinating with vendors and contractors.
• Prepare and manage property budgets, financial reporting, and rent collection.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant property management regulations and health and safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial property management .
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance, building systems, and lease agreements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to manage budgets and financial reporting effectively.
• Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits.
