About the Role

Our client, a leading property consultancy, is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Commercial Property Surveyor to join their expanding team in Cardiff . This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, providing expert advice on valuations, acquisitions, disposals, and lease negotiations. You will be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their commercial property needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Welsh commercial property market and be committed to delivering high-quality surveying services that support client investment and operational objectives, working from their central Cardiff office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive property inspections and valuations for commercial assets.
• Advise clients on property acquisition, disposal, and investment strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports, including schedules of condition, dilapidations, and boundary surveys.
• Negotiate lease terms and service charge agreements on behalf of clients.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and relevant legislation impacting the commercial property sector.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in commercial property surveying, with a strong understanding of the Cardiff market.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in valuation methodologies and property management software.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Valid UK driving licence and the ability to undertake site visits across Wales.
