About the Role

Our client, a leading commercial real estate consultancy, is seeking a dedicated Commercial Property Surveyor to join their esteemed team in Leeds, West Yorkshire . This role involves a broad range of surveying activities, including property management, lease advisory, building surveys, and advising commercial clients on their property portfolios. You will play a key role in managing and developing client relationships, ensuring that strategic property advice is delivered to a high standard. This position requires a chartered surveyor with excellent analytical skills and a commercial acumen to excel in the busy Leeds market.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting building surveys, dilapidations, and schedules of condition for commercial properties.
• Providing expert advice on leasehold matters, rent reviews, and lease renewals.
• Managing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
• Advising clients on property acquisitions, disposals, and development opportunities.
• Preparing detailed reports and valuations for various commercial property assets.

Requirements

• MRICS or equivalent qualification in surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial property surveying.
• Strong understanding of the Leeds commercial property market .
• Excellent report writing, communication, and client management skills.
• Proficiency in relevant surveying software and methodologies.
