About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed surveys and inspections of commercial properties, identifying potential issues and risks.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on property condition, market value, and investment potential for Birmingham clients.
• Advise clients on lease negotiations, rent reviews, and property management strategies.
• Assist with property acquisitions and disposals, including due diligence and negotiation support.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of commercial property law, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor on all property-related matters.

Requirements

• MRICS or AssocRICS qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial property surveying.
• Strong understanding of commercial property valuation, building surveying, and landlord and tenant legislation.
• Excellent report-writing skills and the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Proficiency in relevant property management software and MS Office Suite.
