About the Role

Our client, a reputable firm of chartered surveyors, is looking for a skilled Commercial Property Surveyor to join their team in Portsmouth . This hybrid role offers the chance to engage in a variety of surveying activities, including valuations, RICS surveys, lease advisory, and asset management for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. You will play a key role in advising clients, ensuring the optimal performance and value of their commercial real estate assets. This position requires a professional who is adept at both on-site assessments and off-site analysis and client liaison, contributing to the firm's strong presence in the Hampshire market.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive commercial property valuations for various purposes, including sale, purchase, and lease renewals.
• Undertake RICS Level 3 surveys and building inspections for commercial assets.
• Provide expert advice on lease terms, rent reviews, and dilapidations.
• Assist clients with property acquisition and disposal strategies.
• Manage property maintenance and facilities for commercial portfolios.
• Ensure all surveying work adheres to RICS standards and relevant legislation within the UK .

Requirements

• Qualified Surveyor, MRICS or FRICS preferred, with a strong background in commercial property .
• Proven experience in undertaking valuations, surveys, and lease advisory work.
• In-depth knowledge of the commercial property market , particularly in the South Coast region.
• Excellent report writing, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with relevant surveying software and IT packages.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license and be prepared for site visits throughout Portsmouth and the surrounding areas.
