About the Role

Our client, a leading property consultancy, is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable Commercial Property Valuer to join their established team in Newcastle upon Tyne . You will engage with clients, conduct thorough property inspections, and produce comprehensive valuation reports adhering to RICS standards. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed site inspections and gather all relevant data for property valuations.
• Prepare high-quality, accurate valuation reports for commercial properties, including retail, office, and industrial assets.
• Provide expert advice to clients, lenders, and other stakeholders on property values and market conditions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Newcastle upon Tyne commercial property market and relevant legislation.
• Liaise with internal teams, such as agency and leasehold enfranchisement, to provide integrated advice.
• Ensure all valuations are conducted in compliance with RICS Red Book standards and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Qualified Surveyor (MRICS or FRICS) with a specialization in valuation.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial property valuation.
• Strong understanding of the RICS Valuation Standards (The Red Book).
• Excellent report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant valuation software and MS Office Suite.
