Commercial Refrigeration Engineer Kendal / Cumbria £45,000 Basic Package + Overtime - £65,000 OTE

An established national refrigeration contractor specialising in commercial refrigeration systems for the food service , hospitality and retail sectors is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to cover Yorkshire. The business supports major national customers through long-term service and maintenance contracts and is expanding its engineering team following continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems Diagnose and repair refrigeration and electrical faults Attend reactive breakdowns and planned maintenance visits Work on chilled and frozen refrigeration equipment Complete service reports and maintain high customer service standards Participate in an on-call rota

Package: £42,500 basic salary £2,500 on-call allowance Overtime paid at 1.5x and 2x 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Company pension and life insurance Employee discounts and wellbeing benefits Ongoing training and career development

What You'll Need: Extensive commercial refrigeration service experience, ideally 10+ years Experience working on refrigeration equipment in restaurants, hospitality and food retail Strong refrigeration and electrical fault-finding skills Valid F-Gas Certification Experience with chilled and frozen commercial refrigeration systems Full UK driving licence
