About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Communications Manager to lead their Media & PR initiatives from their Coventry office. This senior role involves overseeing all internal and external communications, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand message across all platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing high-level communication strategies that support business goals and enhance organizational reputation. This is a key leadership position within the team, requiring a proactive approach to identifying communication opportunities and managing potential risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute integrated communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
Manage all aspects of corporate communications, including media relations, public affairs, and social media.
Oversee the creation of compelling content for various channels, including press releases, annual reports, and digital platforms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and community leaders.
Lead and mentor a team of PR and communications professionals.
Manage the company's reputation and respond effectively to crisis situations.

Requirements

Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in communications and public relations, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing impactful communication campaigns.
Strong understanding of media landscape, corporate reputation management, and crisis communications.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing budgets and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
