About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation in the Charity & Voluntary sector, is seeking a strategic and experienced Communications Manager to lead their communications efforts remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with the organisation's mission and objectives.
• Manage all internal and external communications, including press releases, website content, social media updates, and newsletters.
• Craft compelling stories and case studies that showcase the organisation's impact and engage donors, beneficiaries, and the wider public.
• Oversee media relations, responding to inquiries, building relationships with journalists, and securing positive media coverage.

Requirements

• Proven experience in communications, public relations, or a related field, ideally within the Charity & Voluntary sector.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong portfolio of published work.
• Experience in managing media relations and social media platforms.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple projects remotely, and a passion for the organisation's cause.
