About the Role
Our client is seeking a compassionate and reliable Community Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes across the Plymouth area. This hybrid role involves direct client care in the community, complemented by administrative duties and team coordination, potentially from a local office or remotely. You will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication reminders.
- Help clients with domestic tasks, meal preparation, and shopping.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the care coordinator.
- Accurately record care provided and client updates in digital care logs.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar caregiving role.
- Good understanding of health and safety in a care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in the Plymouth community.
