Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Fundraising Manager to join their dedicated team in Aberdeen . This vital role involves cultivating and nurturing relationships with local communities, businesses, and individuals to generate crucial support and funding for our client's charitable initiatives. You will be instrumental in developing and executing innovative fundraising campaigns that resonate with the spirit of the Aberdeen community, ensuring we can continue to make a significant impact. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to engage with stakeholders both in person and remotely, maximizing reach and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative community fundraising strategies and events in the Aberdeen area.
- Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with corporate partners, community groups, and major donors.
- Inspire and manage a team of volunteers to support fundraising activities and events.
- Track and report on fundraising progress, budget management, and key performance indicators.
- Create compelling fundraising materials and communications to engage potential supporters.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fundraising , event management, or community engagement roles, preferably within the charity sector.
- Demonstrated success in meeting financial targets and growing income streams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport easily.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM databases and standard office software.
