About the Role
Our client, a respected organisation within the Charity & Voluntary sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Fundraising Manager to lead their efforts in Aberdeen . This pivotal role involves developing and implementing innovative fundraising strategies to increase income and engagement within the local community. You will be instrumental in building and nurturing relationships with individual donors, community groups, and local businesses, ensuring the continued support and growth of our client's vital services across Aberdeen and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive community fundraising plans to meet or exceed annual income targets.
- Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and community groups in Aberdeen .
- Organise and manage local fundraising events, appeals, and campaigns, ensuring a positive donor experience.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers to support fundraising activities.
- Analyse fundraising performance data and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Represent the organisation at community events and build brand awareness within Aberdeen .
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in charity fundraising , particularly within community engagement.
- Demonstrated experience in event management and campaign coordination.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fundraising environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and standard office applications.
