About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging community fundraising events and campaigns across Leicester and surrounding areas.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including potential donors, corporate partners, and community groups.
• Manage and grow existing fundraising activities, such as sponsored challenges, local appeals, and awareness days.
• Provide support and guidance to volunteers involved in fundraising activities, ensuring a positive and effective experience.
• Accurately record and report on fundraising income, expenditure, and donor engagement using CRM systems.
• Represent the charity at community events, presentations, and networking opportunities to raise profile and encourage support.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fundraising , sales, or a related customer-facing role, preferably within the charity sector.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience in event planning and execution, from concept to post-event analysis.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
