Community Outreach Worker

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Community Outreach Worker to connect with and support individuals within the Brighton area. This role focuses on engaging with vulnerable populations, raising awareness of available services, and facilitating access to support networks. As a primarily remote role, you will utilize various digital platforms and communication tools to reach out to the community, coordinate resources, and provide information. You will be instrumental in building stronger community links and ensuring that those in need receive timely and effective assistance in East Sussex .

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with individuals and groups within the community who require support.
• Promote awareness of available social care services and resources through online channels and digital campaigns.
• Provide initial information, guidance, and signposting to appropriate services.
• Build and maintain relationships with local community organisations and stakeholders.
• Facilitate virtual group sessions or workshops to promote well-being and social connection.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and client interactions using designated software.
• Gather feedback from the community to inform service development and delivery.

Requirements
