Community Support Officer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to identify client requirements and develop personalized support plans.

• Liaise with external agencies, local authorities, and voluntary organisations to coordinate care and support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Organise and facilitate community-based activities and group support sessions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a social work, community development, or support role.
• Strong understanding of social welfare legislation and community resources.
• Excellent assessment, problem-solving, and case management skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management software.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for community visits is preferred.
