Compliance Officer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures across the organization.
• Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance breaches.
• Monitor changes in relevant financial regulations and ensure timely updates to internal controls.
• Investigate compliance concerns and allegations, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Provide compliance training and guidance to employees at all levels.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and manage reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or regulatory role, preferably within Banking & Finance .
• In-depth knowledge of UK financial regulations (e.g., FCA rules, AML, KYC).
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
