About the Role

Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Computer Science Teacher to join a progressive secondary school in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science and IT subjects to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5.
• Develop and deliver inspiring lessons covering programming languages, algorithms, cybersecurity, and hardware.
• Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including coursework, projects, and examinations.
• Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to computational concepts.
• Stay current with technological advancements and integrate them into the curriculum.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
