About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver inspiring lessons in Computer Science, including programming, algorithms, and data structures.
- Assess student progress through practical tasks, coursework, and examinations, providing timely feedback.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes problem-solving and computational thinking.
- Keep abreast of current trends and developments in computing and technology to enhance curriculum delivery.
- Manage and maintain computer facilities and software, ensuring a functional learning environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level, with knowledge of GCSE and A-Level syllabi.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and familiarity with relevant software.
- Strong understanding of computational thinking and digital literacy concepts.
