Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level.
• Teach a range of topics including programming, computational thinking, data handling, and digital safety.
• Develop students' practical skills in coding and software development using relevant languages.
• Assess student performance, provide feedback, and track progress in line with curriculum objectives.
• Stay current with technological advancements and integrate them into the curriculum to maintain relevance.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary and/or A-Level.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++).
• Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learners in Portsmouth .
