About the Role

Our client is seeking a personable and resourceful Concierge to join a luxury hotel team in Glasgow . As the first point of contact for many guests, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional level of personalized service, assisting with guest requests, making recommendations, and ensuring their stay is enjoyable and seamless. This role requires extensive local knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to go the extra mile for every guest. You will be a key ambassador for the hotel, representing its commitment to unparalleled hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and efficient welcome to all guests, offering assistance with luggage and inquiries.
• Fulfill guest requests promptly and efficiently, including reservations, transportation, and local information.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, dining, and entertainment.
• Handle guest complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Maintain the appearance and tidiness of the lobby and concierge desk area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in hospitality or luxury retail.
• Excellent knowledge of Glasgow and its surrounding areas.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished presentation.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
