Construction Foreman

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Foreman to lead on-site operations for projects in and around Bradford . You will be responsible for supervising daily construction activities, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. This role involves direct supervision of tradespeople, coordination with the Site Manager, and ensuring that all project milestones are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction techniques, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the daily activities of construction crews and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe construction environment by identifying and correcting potential hazards and enforcing safety protocols.
• Coordinate with Site Managers and other project personnel to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Operate and maintain various construction tools and equipment as needed.
• Assist in managing material and equipment on site, ensuring availability and proper usage.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or a similar supervisory role.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Relevant certifications such as a CSCS card are essential.
