Construction Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Construction Lawyer to join their fully remote legal team. This role offers the flexibility to work from home while advising clients across the UK on a wide range of construction and engineering law matters. You will be involved in both contentious and non-contentious aspects of construction projects, including contract drafting and negotiation, dispute resolution, and advising on procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate construction and engineering contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
• Advise clients on risk management, procurement, and project delivery strategies.
• Handle construction disputes, including adjudication, arbitration, and litigation.
• Provide legal support on all phases of construction projects, from inception to completion.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction law.
• Demonstrated expertise in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
• Thorough understanding of standard forms of construction contracts and bespoke agreements.
• Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Ability to manage a remote workload efficiently and maintain strong client relationships virtually.
