Construction Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Construction Lawyer to join their dedicated team, offering a fully remote working arrangement to serve clients across the UK . This position focuses on advising developers, contractors, and employers on contentious and non-contentious construction law matters. You will be involved in all stages of the construction lifecycle, from procurement and contract negotiation to dispute resolution. This is a fantastic opportunity for a construction law specialist who values autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to manage complex projects from a remote setting, contributing to a well-respected legal practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on the procurement and drafting of construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
• Manage construction disputes, including adjudication, arbitration, and litigation.
• Provide legal support for construction projects from inception to completion.
• Assist with contract negotiations and project development agreements.
• Conduct due diligence on construction-related aspects of corporate transactions.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' experience in construction law.
• Proven experience in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
• Strong understanding of standard form construction contracts and bespoke agreements.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and work effectively remotely.
