About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly experienced and strategic Construction Manager to lead a portfolio of exciting projects in and around Bristol . This senior role involves overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and financial control of construction projects, ensuring delivery excellence. You will manage project teams, oversee budgets, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, driving projects to successful completion while upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. This is a challenging yet rewarding position for a proven leader in the South West construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of construction projects from initiation to handover.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met or exceeded.
• Create and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including site staff, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications, providing regular progress reports.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar senior project management role.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and contract management.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as PMP or MCIOB are highly desirable.
