Construction Planner

About the Role

Our client requires a meticulous and proactive Construction Planner to join their team in Liverpool . This role is crucial for developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to create detailed construction plans, identify potential risks, and optimize resource allocation. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using planning software.
• Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify potential delays and risks, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor project progress against the plan, reporting on performance and recommending adjustments.
• Prepare planning documentation for tenders and project submissions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project planning software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta Powerproject.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various project stakeholders.
