About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Construction Planner to join their remote team, supporting projects across various locations. You will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely completion of construction activities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and site teams, irrespective of physical location. The ideal candidate will be adept at using planning software and will contribute to the successful logistical execution of diverse construction projects from their remote work setup, ensuring seamless coordination and progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Analyse project timelines, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather information, define milestones, and update progress reports.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation align with the project schedule.
- Prepare reports on project progress, performance, and potential delays for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Construction Planner or in a similar scheduling role.
- Proficiency with industry-standard planning and scheduling software.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team environment.
