About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Construction Planner to join their team based in Edinburgh . You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to create realistic and achievable plans, identify potential delays, and implement mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using planning software.
• Collaborate with project teams to define project scope, milestones, and resource requirements.
• Identify potential risks and delays, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Monitor project progress against the schedule and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project status and performance metrics.
• Ensure all planning activities comply with industry standards and company procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Planner or Scheduler.
• Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Asta PowerProject.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and resource allocation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing remote work with site visits in the Edinburgh area.
