About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organized Construction Project Coordinator to join their team on a fully remote basis. You will provide essential administrative and logistical support to project managers and site teams, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently. This role involves managing project documentation, coordinating communications, and supporting the overall project lifecycle from planning through to handover. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced, remote working environment, contributing to the successful delivery of key construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project managers in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Manage and maintain all project documentation, including contracts, drawings, and reports.
- Coordinate communication between project team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Track project progress, identify potential issues, and escalate them to the project manager.
- Support the procurement process and manage vendor relationships.
- Prepare meeting minutes and action logs, ensuring follow-up on all outstanding items.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably within construction.
- Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
