Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee projects in and around Southampton . This hybrid role requires a hands-on approach to managing all phases of construction projects, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves a mix of site visits and office-based work, offering a dynamic blend of responsibilities within a reputable construction firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to maintain project quality and timeline adherence.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements

• Significant experience (5+ years) as a Construction Project Manager .
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage budgets effectively and control project costs.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work effectively in a hybrid capacity.
