Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to lead key projects in the Coventry area. This role is instrumental in planning, executing, and closing construction projects, ensuring they meet objectives related to scope, budget, schedule, and quality. You will oversee all project phases, from initial concept through to completion, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and site teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to project delivery and a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction ventures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and control costs effectively.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and provide detailed status reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager in the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, and site management.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
• A valid CSCS card and relevant site safety certifications.
