Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to spearhead a landmark development in Belfast . This role requires a leader capable of overseeing all facets of the construction process, from initial planning and procurement through to final handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and site management.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring all objectives are met.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee and manage all on-site activities, subcontractors, and direct labor, ensuring productivity and quality.
• Implement and enforce rigorous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Manage project finances, including budget tracking, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Liaise effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, managing large-scale projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
