Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned and proactive Construction Project Manager to lead diverse construction projects from conception through to completion. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage projects across various locations efficiently. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of project team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The role demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of the construction sector from a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, scopes, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee the work of project teams, including contractors and consultants, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
• Prepare detailed project status reports for senior management and clients on a regular basis.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Demonstrable experience managing projects from initiation to closure, with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent knowledge of construction management software and building codes.
• Strong leadership, client-facing, and negotiation skills, adaptable to a remote work environment.
