Construction Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of exciting projects. This is a 100% remote position, offering the freedom and flexibility to manage projects from anywhere in the UK. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong understanding of construction methodologies, and the ability to effectively manage remote teams and stakeholders. You will be the central point of contact, driving project success through proactive communication and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all phases of the construction project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
• Manage and coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers through effective virtual communication.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
• Ensure all projects adhere to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
• Conduct regular progress meetings with clients and internal stakeholders via video conferencing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects with a value of over £10 million.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Asana, or similar.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
